If you enter a chess event run by Ranges Chess Club, the information we request can include your name, date of birth, sex, postal address, e-mail address, contact phone number(s), and for entrants under the age of 18 can also include the school you attend. With your consent, or the consent of your parent or guardian, or as otherwise provided for by applicable law, if you are under the age of 18, we may publish the name, age group, and photographs of members and others that attend Ranges Chess Club events on the Ranges web site, the chess event web site, or in newsletters promoting upcoming or previously conducted chess club events run by Ranges Chess Club. How we protect your personal information
All personal information you provide to Ranges Chess Club as a Ranges Chess Club member is held securely with the Ranges Chess Club Secretary. The Secretary keeps and maintains a register of members containing (a) the name and address of each member; and (b) the date on which each member's name was entered in the register. Any member can access their personal information and the register of members through the Ranges Chess Club upon reasonable notice.
All personal information you provide when entering in a chess event organised by Ranges Chess Club is held securely with the Director of Play for that event. The Director of Play keeps and maintains a register of entrants containing (a) the name and email address of each entrant; and (b) the date on which each entrant’s name was entered in the register. Any entrant can access their personal information through the Ranges Chess Club upon reasonable notice. How we use "cookies"

What we provide to third parties
While Ranges Chess Club does not provide any third-party access to your personal information, we may provide third parties such as Chess Victoria, chess bulletin boards and media outlets with information relating to Ranges Chess club events, results and activities that may include your name, your age group, your chess game results and tournament results.
